Who We Are

We are the Michos/Mythos family.
We have the bad habit of believing that we can change our little universe —
and if you let us, maybe even yours.

Our story begins in Greece but grows through Austria —
behind the bar counter and around tables filled with human stories.
For us, hospitality is not a profession but a way of standing in the world:
with an open door, a full glass, and ears that truly listen.

We love breaking through the illusion of a “perfect Europe”
by creating something more human: tables scribbled with stories,
friendships that don’t always fit neatly,
nights that end late because “someone brought a guitar.”
We believe in the kind of values that don’t trend online —
the “good morning” that costs nothing,
the bread that is shared,
the laughter that melts the ice in three seconds,
the deep conversation over wine in the square of Kaspakas.

Our Mythos

We grew up with Hemingway’s Bar in Austria —
not a bar of quiet nights, but one filled with music, friends, and stories until dawn.
There, we learned that hospitality is not a job but a way of being:
listening, sharing, connecting.

It became our school of authenticity.
We studied through glasses, ice, and stories —
earning our degree in listening without judgment,
our master’s in mixing a little honesty into a cocktail,
and our PhD in bringing together people
who might never have met otherwise.

From that “big balcony,” we saw all of humanity:
the romantic with the shy smile,
the cynic who softens after the second drink,
the loner who finds company at the bar.
Among laughter, arguments, and songs,
we discovered that true luxury is never a crystal glass —
it’s human connection.

Our Vision

From the soul-balcony of Hemingway’s to the island of Lemnos —
every night behind the bar, we mixed alcohol with stories,
ice with glances, and glasses with dreams.
Our Greek soul reminded us that the best drink
is always the one mixed with honesty and the will to share.
Because in the end, it was never about what’s in the glass,
but about who sits across from you.

After more than 13 years at Hemingway’s,
we realized that what we truly loved wasn’t cocktails,
but the art of human connection —
creating spaces where strangers become friends
and moments turn into memory.

Lemnos was the natural continuation.
A place where days are measured not by hours,
but by sunrises and sunsets.
Where wine meets bread fresh from the oven,
and conversations flow without filters.

This is our Mythos —
where hospitality becomes philosophy,
and simplicity feels like coming home.
